Gift your mum a little me-time with Tablescape’s Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea Set
SINGAPORE – With Circuit Breaker in place and now extended, it’s either family time all the time or the occasional video call – nothing in between. In other words, mums will either have no time at all for themselves or be really lonely… This Mother’s Day, remind your mum that she is loved with an Afternoon Tea Set from Tablescape at Grand Park City Hall.
This new Afternoon Tea Set brings a delicious array of sweet treats and finger sandwiches specially created to bring joy to every physical sense for an easy S$58nett.
The star? The Caramelised Apple Shell Tart with Rosemary Meringue. A tart shell is heaped with red apple cubes caramelised with cinnamon and sugar, then mixed with raisins and a house-made custard cream and capped with an Italian meringue flavoured with rosemary. Redolent with the scents of apple and rosemary, every bite sweeps you away into the warm golden light of a late European summer without you even needing to leave your seat.
The set is also crowded with cakes, candy, and savoury bites exclusive to the tea menu such as a savoury choux bun bursting with creamy chicken salad brightened with celery and lemon, and a luxuriously buttery sable Breton paired with foie gras, smoked duck and apple.
The palate is first comforted with the sesame brioche and scones, baked fresh in-house; then refreshed with the sweets selection, a multi-layered complexity of flavours that captivate the eyes and appetite. Consider the Effervescent Passion Fruit Praline – a white chocolate sphere coated with a pop rock type of powder that immediately fizzes then yields to the white chocolate and tangy passion fruit cream for a “sparkling chocolate” experience.
The set, good for two, comes with your choice of coffee or tea. For every order of the Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea Set, Tablescape will extend an exclusive offer. For the first time ever, guests will have the opportunity to purchase a shawl that has a design created especially for Grand Park City Hall. Soft and silky, the shawl would be a luxurious and practical gift. For Mother’s Day only, the shawl will also be available for purchase at S$28 [regular price S$68].

About Grand Park City Hall
Grand Park City Hall is the flagship luxury hotel of Park Hotel Group, occupying a prime location in Singapore’s civic and central business districts. Part of Grand Park City Hall is City Hall Square, a three-storey mixed lifestyle development with a dining, beauty, and fashion boutique created by integrating two century-old conservation shophouses within its modern structure, which comprises 343 guestrooms across 10 floors – a design that perfectly embodies Singapore’s unique culture.
By building new upon the old, history and heritage and the hotel fabric become inseparable. Visual touches acknowledge this connection: take the neo-classical aesthetic of the restaurant — a tribute to the Neoclassical and Palladian architecture to nearby landmarks such as the National Gallery, Peranakan Museum, and Supreme Court.
More information is available on its website, Facebook and Instagram.
